Hansen writes: I went to see the Copenhagen show, and noticed hvow the crowd cheered when 'Last to die' began. I missed 'Magic' and would have loved to hear 'I'll work for your love' in the set. Wouldn't mind NOT having 'working on the highway' in the set. Glad to have missed 'Girls in their summer clothes'!
PATRICK writes: WTF? BRUCE IS AN ENTERTAINER AND A GREAT ONE. HE NEEDS TO GET BACK TO WHAT I LIKE, MELODY AND LYRICS THAT TALK TO ME. ME THAT HAS TO GO TO WORK AND MAKE A LIVING FOR MY FAMILY, AND TAKE ME BACK TO WHAT I HAD AS A YOUNGER MAN WITH DREAMS AND HOPES AND SEX AND FIRE AND FREEDOM.
Bruce Hall writes: Bruce has been apart of my life since 1982 and it has seemed as though his life parrelelled mine in so many ways. This is why his songs were so powerful to me.

Darragh writes: I was at the three gigs in Dublin in May and he just got better night after night. "Girls in their Summer Clothes" got a great reception. Bruce even drank a pint of lager from a fan!
Last E Street Band concert in Europe? Not a fear of it. Theres already songs made for a new album with the ESB and talks about them playing at Super Bowl 2009 so I doubt it very much. The Boss is as energetic and in good shape as ever!
James Young writes: Was at the St Louis Show last night, best I've seen, Bruce seemed to be having fun, 3 hours 15 minutes instaed of 2 hours 15 we saw in Chicago last fall. Hes an attention whore, he'll be back, and I'll be there
Gunilla writes: I can understand that You loose your mind sometimes. It?s hard to allways been on tours and it?s nearly the same at every place You are.
Even You will be older, I?m nearly the same age as You. What does it matter if You are in the south or north countrys as long as You know when You are with Your wife and children.
You will still be the best. I saw Your show in Gothenburg and they where MAGIC in all ways.
Gunilla writes: Of course I will celebrate Bruce birthday but I can?t be there. I was on his first concert in Stockholm 1974 I think it was. It has been a lot more throu the years. In Sweden and outsida as well. The last was in Gothenburg this summer.
He is like a good wine. As older it will be as better it is. He is the best and I really hope he will be out in tours again so I can see him.
I really wish him a wonderful and happy birthday and hope he can celebrite it with his family.
Paul writes: Amen!

I'm very happy to read this point of view. Too long have fans been occupied with predicting the End of Bruce, the End of the E Street Band, the End of stadium shows. We want more!
Gareth Barnes writes: I totally agree! They are young compared with the Rolling Stones hwo are still amazing. Bruce and co have a good few years left in the band yet. The sell by date is not on the horizon...yet!
Pauline writes: I LOVED this tour but I do have to say that the one downside to Bruce's spontaneity was that he favoured the rocking roll to the tender moments. Dropping Devil's Arcade to me was a blow. Often Magic too... I think Bruce's poetry and magic really comes alive when he allows for the quieter moments.. and.. the audience would still hush.. In Europe anyway.. I think. But I'm not complaining too much...

Jacquelyn Jean McCormick writes: I was at that concert and I had the time of my life. I had arrived at 1 in the afternoon. Bruce Springsteen and the E Steet Band was not scheduled until 8:30; it was well worth the wait!! We had to sit or stand in one spot unitl the concert started, which was very trying at times, but when the show started....we were blown away! I have been a fan since the seventies and I was never as up close as that night. I am sure, at least in my mind, that Bruce could hear my gut renching yells and screams as he stood only a few feet in front of me. It was so sur-real!! That night is something that I will love forever and will always be with me. Totaly unforgetable!!! I love you!! :)
Waitin' for a Philly Show writes: Let's be real. I think Bruce really struggled to continue the tour after Danny's passing. I think that's why he changed the setlists so much. It helped him stay motivated. I hope he has time to mourn for his friend. I'm sad that Bruce didn't do a stadium show in Philly. But it sounds like the tour was great. Get some rest Bruce.
Tommy Risgaard writes: When it comes to The Boss - "Tougher than the rest" makes damn more sense!!!

Thanks for more lifetime memories Bruce. you are and always will be the BOSS!

Jacquelyn Jean McCormick/socraeblu2534@yahoo.com writes: I am sorry. I am sorry for Danny's passing. I can not imagine how hard it was for the rest of the E Street Band to continue without their friend by their sides. I feel that once a person has left this world, they are still with you in sprit ;it is just sad that a person can no longer conmmunicate that same ways as before when the sprit was here on earth in a human body. But I sure felt the sprit that night!! Again, I had the time of my life!!

When I need to hear a "voice", you are always there. I hope you keep rocking long past my days. My 18 year old son even loves you. Joe Zap writes: Frankly, I feel Bruce, like many wide-eyed Americans, is being fleeced. I do not believe that Sen. Obama is the man he portrays himself as -- a uniter not a divider. I have not only met Sen. Obama and read his book "The Audacity of Hope" but seriously follow American politics on a daily basis.
Sen. Obama, a man with MANY sketchy relationships, has proven to me that in actuality he is not much more than a partisan good-looking liberal who can give a helluva speech. He has much to learn about many things a President should have a grasp of, including: 1) why oil prices rise and fall and why so many countries do not want them based on U. S. dollars, 2) the complexity of international relationships and how to deal with adversaries, and 3) the challenges of the American economic system and the incestuous relationship between Wall St., lobbyists, the Federal Reserve and politicians.
I would love to know if Bruce Springsteen has ever heard of ACORN, William Ayers, Jim Johnson, Tony Rezko, and Franklin Raines. If he has heard of them, I'd like to know if he dismisses his messiah's relationships with them like so many Democrats and liberals seem to have done this campaign season -- an ignorant 'see no evil, hear no evil' take on politics.
Unfortunately, until Mr. Springsteen and many more Americans are able to think outside the box and realize there is no gun to one's head forcing one to vote for a Republican or Democrat for President of the country we all love, we will get more of the same 'ol, same 'ol from our public servants in Washington, D. C. Bitter partisan politics may be fun fodder for combatants in a 'fight forum' but it is no way to run a country.
Janet writes: Although I do not agree with Bruce's political views he is still THE MAN !!!! PS.....Just think about it usually whoever he backs up loses. :-)

Average guy writes: Kind of hard to look out for the little guy while charging $500 per ticket. Goes to show you money talks & the little guy is left behind. Yet all the rich politicians & celebrities claim they are looking out for the little guy. The truth is that they'd rather get a million average people each paying a little in taxes so the millionaire celebrities don't have to pay so much.
Philly resident writes: We hope the Obama campaign will payback the City of Philadelphia for all the time spent setting up & cleaning up for the millionaire politician & millionaire celebrity's rally. Unlike Bruce and Obama, the citizens of Philly don't have money to waste.
Real friend of the poor writes: Remember Bruce, you're getting older. You can't afford to wait for weeks or months for medical procedures under the Obama plan. I hope you don't do what other well-known people do which is to use your celebrity status to get the best care while some poor nobody who is just as sick or sicker has to keep waiting.
the boss writes: real friend of the poor, you need to get real. thats the most ridiculous comment ive seen posted in quite some time. theres so much wrong with it, its not even worth arguing against it.
Eddie writes: Bruce your the best, thanks for all means a lot!
Old time Bruce Fan writes: On Live 75-85, you said it best Bruce: Blind faith in your leaders will get you killed. Obama hasn't done a thing and you've already made him king. I'm sure if Obama is a disaster, you'll be silent. I don't want to hear it can't get any worse because it can get worse. But when it comes to taxes, you're a multi-millionaire so if Obama raises your taxes, you'll be fine. Unfortunately most of your fans would be harmed if Obama breaks his pledge to cut taxes.
RFOTP writes: You tell me. Who gets better medical care? Ted Kennedy or a nobody with the same illness as Senator Kennedy? Even today the answer is Ted Kennedy. When Obama's healthcare plan is instituted, the rich and famous will still find a way to sneak to the front of the line when it comes to getting medical care.
mick parkinson writes: please do not label bruce the millionaire celebrity when outside new jersey philly are responsible for a great deal of album sales and concert tickets you helped make bruce a lot of money he has spent almost forty years serving his fans so please allow the guy his political opinion.
the boss writes: of course it will happen. thats how the modern world works. but what do you want him to do if he gets sick, deliberately wait around because someone with less money/status also has to?? if i was in his shoes id get around the system to get the best medical care if needed - whether bruce would do that, i dunno, neither do you. springsteen earned his status/money on his own, he wasnt born with it. whether he donates that to charity or spends it on million dollar toilet roll is another argument. he's still entitled to his opinion as to who should be voted next president and he obviously feels obama is the guy to choose based on all his policies/principles. for what its worth, i live outside the US, so dont have any interest in who gets elected. i just see a lot of people complaining about/abusing springsteen in the press for voicing his opinion on politics. if you dont like obama, dont vote for him
Former Bruce Fan writes: Boss, I believe you're making RFOTP's point. Springsteen is spending a lot of time campaigning for Obama, even though Obama's policies will be bad for the average citizen. But Bruce doesn't have to care because he's rich and the results won't apply to him.
carlos di lernia writes: ?arlos di lernia zzz

RFOTP writes: I'm really not abusing Bruce, just asking difficult questions. Your response was very sad to be honest. The problem with the current healthcare system is the "rich" can afford it and the poor cannot. With national healthcare, it's available to everyone equally. That what Bruce wants yet you still endorse the rich and famous using their status to get access before a regular person. If that's the case then that's wrong. Nothing has been accomplished.
WorldCitizen writes: Change must come. War all over the places, millions of social drop-outs without anyone who cares, mass-murders at schools, homeless people in the middle of riches. Obama is not a king but he is a chance for a change. Besides, U.S. taxes are really low anyway, so there really is no need to lower them, quite the opposite. The point is where to spend the tax money: on war on on people?
