But with its 200 beautifully layouted pages, hundreds of photographs, and stories spanning Bruce's career from the early 70's till Seeger Sessions, "For You" is still the most essential in capturing Bruce Springsteen from a fan perspective.

Back when the book was first published, I wrote a review that still sums up how I feel about the book pretty well. The new edition, unfortunately, hasn't been updated to include the last decade, but you still get all the fan stories you could ever want about the legendary tours of the 70's and 80's as well as lots of post-reunion impressions.
