Wet Copenhagen show
Published 1999-06-27
47,000 fans at Parken in Copenhagen were drenched by the rain as Bruce and the band played the second to last show of the European tour. The rain made Bruce open with "Who'll Stop the Rain?" (tour premiere), but that didn't help. The rain just continued and Bruce made several comments about it to the soaking audience. He also dedicated "The Ghost of Tom Joad" and "Streets of Philadelphia" to a local AIDS organization. The show featured another tour premiere besides "Who'll Stop the Rain?": "Because the Night" was performed for the first time since 1993. See the complete set list here.
