Webcast starting to show up
The live performance from December 7, where Bruce and the E Street Band performed for a very limited number of people at the Casino in Asbury Park, has started to show up online as an official Christmas webcast. We can't tell you what it contains, because so far you can only watch in in the US through something called Vevo.com or if you're in the UK through The Guardian's website. While the webcast is probably bound to show up in other countries before too long, this geographical discrimination is extremely frustrating and an insult to loyal fans. It is also a sure way to nurture piracy, but that's another issue.
For now, all you can do, if you don't live in a country where the webcast has been released, is to keep checking out the following sites where it is supposedly going to appear:
Australia Australia YouTube (http://www.youtube.c...?gl=AU&hl=en-GB)
Ireland Irish Times (http://www.irishtimes.com)
Germany Rolling Stone (http://www.rollingstone.de) and Yahoo! (http://www.yahoo.de)
France Deezer (http://www.deezer.com)
Spain El Mundo (http://www.elmundo.es) and Marca (http://www.marca.com)
Denmark - Politiken (http://www.pol.dk)
Holland Nu (http://www.nu.nl)
Switzerland Teleboy (http://www.Teleboy.ch) and Le Matin
(http://www.lematin.ch)
Italy Repubblica (http://www.repubblica.it)
Israel Walla (http://www.walla.co.il)
Reactions from those who managed to get a look at it are so far rather ecstatic, so don't let the geographical mess ruin your mood completely. You're in for a treat.
