Tour end means changes to Greasy Lake

Published 2000-07-08
The tour is over, but Greasy Lake continues. There may not be any new setlists to check out for a while, but that doesn't mean there is not plenty of things to check out on Greasy Lake. First of all, it is with great pride that we announce the opening of a new section: UPSTAGE. The section is dedicated to the stories of Jersey Shore native David J. Mieras who witnessed the rise of the Asbury Park music scene and was among the founders of the famous UPSTAGE club. Needless to say, he knew Bruce. The first of his stories tells about how the club came to be. Another big change is right here on Flamingo Lane where the Tour and the TV/radio sections disappear. That is, all the tour info we collected can of course still be found on Greasy Lake, but it moves to the Magic in the Night section. As for the TV & Radio section, we will continue to provide you with as much info as possible on this page below, but you will have to help us out by submitting any info you may have. The two sections will be replaced by a section with commentary from the Greasy Lake staff on what goes on in the Bruce world. The first column is about the big just ended Reunion Tour.
