Setback for Asbury Park and Tillie

According to Asburypark.net, Asbury Park's economy is now in such a state that the town is facing economical disaster. To prevent this the town allegedly considering selling the waterfront to some as yet unknown investors who, among other things, are said to be planning to finish the high rise on Ocean Avenue which was abandoned in 1989. What this would mean to The Palace and Tillie and other historical landmarks remains to be seen, but the Save Tillie board believes there is cause for alarm.
