Patti celebrated at loose show
Published 1999-07-30
It started with a tour premiere, "The Ties That Bind" (not played since the last show of the River Tour). After that all bets were off. Before the night was over the crowd at the 7th New Jersey show had been treated with the reappearances of "Give the Girl a Kiss" (first time since Asbury Park where Bruce vowed never to play it again), "Red Headed Woman" (first time since Dublin) and "Fire" spicing up "Tenth Avenue". No doubt the loose atmosphere owed to the fact that it was Patti Scialfa's birthday. As usual the setlist can be found here.
