New York police still mad at Bruce

According to New York Daily News, the New York Police Department were so displeased with the fact that Bruce played "American Skin (41 Shots)" at the first Shea show that they refused to give Bruce a police escort out of the stadium after the following show. Some police officers in New York apparently still see the song as an attack on the force due to its references to a shooting incident in 1999 where policemen killed an unarmed African immigrant with 41 shots.
