Published 2005-05-27
At a press conference on May 16 plans for a New Jersey Music Hall of Fame to open in the summer of 2006 were revealed. Bruce will of course have his place in the new museum, but there will also be room for countless other artists who have contributed to the New Jersey music scene. The organizers behind this initiative are long-time compadres Gary Wien and David J. Mieras. The latter is known for his contributions to Greasy Lake and for being the actual Hazy Davy of "Spirit in the Night" fame. Read Greasy Lake reporter, Maureen Shames, report from the press conference.
