Little, Brown and Company will publish a new Springsteen biography by Eric Alterman, "It Ain't No Sin to Be Glad You're Alive: The Promise of Bruce Springsteen". The book is slated for release in October and is described as "the most perceptive portrait yet of a remarkably gifted artist who, against all the pressures of celebrity culture, has emerged an authentic American hero".
