An allegedly good source with a direct connection to an E Street Band member claimed this last week that Bruce and the band had finished recording an album in Atlanta. The material is said to be all new with no studio versions of previously released songs such as "American Skin" and "Land of Hope and Dreams". The source also said that the band was planning to do a few benefit shows in the spring and then embark on a full scale late summer/early fall tour after the album is released. As usual, all this should be taken with a grain of salt. We still have no official word on any of this
