To the best of our knowledge, Microsoft in Denmark have rendered themselves guilty of misusing "Born to Run" at the release party for the Danish version of their new operating system, Windows 2000. At the party, which took place last Wednesday, the song was used in connection with the presentation, just as the words "born to run" were used as a slogan. As far as we know neither Bruce nor his management have given Microsoft permission to use the song. This would have been a severe breach of the principles Bruce has always maintained and something which would have seriously damaged his relationship with his fans.
