Live in New York City goes platinum

Even though Live in New York City can only be found at number 92 on this week's Billboard top 200, the album has sold enough to certify it both gold and platinum. In order to achieve a platinum status in the United States, an album has to sell a million copies. However, double albums only has to sell half that amount, so in reality Live in New York City has only shipped 500,000.
