First Holiday Show went on despite blizzard
Published 2003-12-06
Outside the snow was coming down relentlessly preventing many fans with hard-earned tickets to get to the show in time... if at all. But inside Bruce & The Max Weinberg 7 warmed up the Convention Hall with a 3-hour show which, as usual, featured a host of guest performers plus a few rarities from Bruce himself, including the live world premiere of the recently released Born in the USA outtake "None But the Brave". The guest performers consisted of, among others, young rocker Jesse Malin, the legendary Sam Moore, and Southside Johnny. Read the complete setlist and more details here. On a sidenote, ticketholders for Saturday's show should keep an eye on Concerteast.com's website, because the show may be postponed till Monday due to the heavy snow.
