One day in September 1990, Bruce rode into Prescott, AZ, on his motorcycle. He went to a bar to dust off his throat and ended up playing "Pink Cadillac" and "I'm on Fire" with the house band. But not only that, after having been told by one of the band members that bar owner, Brenda "Bubbles" Phillips, was suffering from cancer and had some huge medical bills, Bruce sent her a check for $160,000. This incident happened ten years ago, and online music column Pause & Play marks the occassion by talking with Brenda "Bubbles" and recounting the story once again.
