European tour kicked off
Published 2007-11-27
In a one-two punch Spain got the honor of hosting the first two shows of the European Magic fall tour. Sunday night in Madrid and last night in Bilbao. The energy level was, as is always the case in Spain, unbelievable although the setlists were fairly standard (if you can call setlists that include "Kitty's Back" standard), possibly due to the fact that this was Charles Giordano's first shows with the E Street Band in his temporary job as Danny Federici's stand-in. Tomorrow the tour moves to Milan in Italy, home of perhaps the most rabid and wild fans in the world. They are allegedly already lining up outside the arena more than 24 hours before showtime.
