European tour ends on high note
Published 2003-06-29
After 24 shows and almost two months Bruce and the band wrapped up the European tour last night in Milan. And they did it in style. For the first time since 1985 Rosie came out in Europe and brought the tour to a close with a bang. Altogether, the last couple of weeks have seen Bruce doing some of his most spectacular shows ever, not least his two shows in Gothenburg that both ended with "Twist and Shout" and already have legendary status among those who were there. Bruce and the band now return to the States where they will begin what will probably be the home-stretch of the tour, and if Europe is any indication, fans in America are in for something extraordinary.
