In his first printed interview since Tracks, Bruce for the first time gave his version of what happened last summer when "American Skin" became the subject of a big controversy with the New York police. Bruce claims to have been caught off guard by the strong reactions, especially since none of the critics had even heard the song. In this very exciting interview he also talks about the breakup and reunion of the E Street Band and his feelings about the election of George W. Bush.
