For the first of his ten shows at Madison Square Garden, Bruce answered his critics by not only playing "American Skin" again followed by a powerful "Promised Land", but also debuting a new rocker which may be called "Code of Silence". The new song was co-written by Joe Grushecky and was a rocking tune. According to the information we have so far, Bruce did not mention the controversey with one word, but instead let the music do the talking. Bruce also repeated the performance of "Further On Up the Road", this time as the first encore. Other rarities included "Dancing in the Dark".
