Bruce showed up at Nebraska tribute
Published 2006-01-18
When about a month ago we published the news that the 2006 New York Guitar Festival would pay tribute to the Nebraska album, the last thing on our mind was that Bruce himself would show up and perform. But that's exactly what happened. On Saturday night he joined the lineup of artists at the World Financial Center Winter Garden in New York for a rendition of Woody Guthrie's "Oklahoma Hills". Before that artists such as Martha Wainwright, Mark Eitzel and Jen Chapin had interpreted the Nebraska songs and other Springsteen tunes. Read all about it in the Star-Ledger.
