Bruce presents Sean Penn with Steinbeck award

A few days ago at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Jose, Bruce presented the Steinbeck Award to actor and friend Sean Penn. The Steinbeck Award is given to people dealing with poverty, race or political injustice in their art. Bruce himself received the award in 1996. In his acceptance speech, Penn call Bruce one of the big inspirations of his life. Read more in the San Francisco Chronicle.
