Last night, less than 10 miles from Backstreets' magazine's anniversary party, a short haired, mustached Bruce Springsteen got on stage at a benefit for SPUR, an organization that provides therapeutic for the disabled. Bruce performed "Mystery Train" with Bobby Bandiera and also auctioned off two guitar lesson for respectively $55,000 and $50,000 (the latter in London) ("For a few thousand more I'll teach you anything", was Bruce's comment) and a guitar for $25,000. Other people in attendance included Max Weinberg and Jon Bon Jovi.
