Bruce on 60 Minutes
Published 2007-10-05
This Sunday, October 7, Bruce will be on 60 minutes, not least to talk about what he sees as his duty to speak out against the Bush administration and the political implications of the Magic album. The show is on 7:30 p.m. ET. Now, please don't swamp us with comments that Bruce should just shut up and sing. Bruce is political. Get used to it. It's part of rock 'n' roll to rebel against authorities, and since it would look downright silly if he still rebelled against his parents, it's gotta be the government. Where I come from, if an artist isn't left-wing he or she is not a real artist. It's just one of those things. If you don't agree with Bruce, just be happy that there's still something that keeps him passionate. Great music comes from it.
