Patti Scialfa is in the middle of a short solo tour, and last night she was at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park. And surprise, surprise, she was joined by her husband, Bruce Springsteen, who is a pretty big name in those parts. He joined her for two songs, "As Long As I (Can Be With You)" from her first solo album and Love (Stand Up) from her latest release, 23rd Street Lullaby. For those of you going to her upcoming shows hoping for a repeat appearance by Bruce, you can probably forget about it. Patti told the crowd in Asbury Park that it would be a one-off event. But that shouldn't deter you from attending. Patti's shows have generally received warm reactions from those who witnessed them.
