Bruce is loose
Published 1999-06-05
Bruce debuted no less than three songs at the second show in Paris, two of which were world premieres. First came "Lion's Den" in the opening sequence of the show, followed by (finally, finally) "Loose Ends" after "Tenth Avenue" and last but not least (finally, finally, finally) "Racing in the Street" shortly thereafter. "Loose Ends" and "Racing" have been rehearsed incessantly throughout the tour and been on several written set lists without being performed, so fans had started to wonder if Bruce was just teasing them. Well, the French fans got the real deal. Now we can only hope they weren't one-off performances.
