In a somewhat overlooked event (outside of New Jersey at least), Bruce was inducted into the brand new New Jersey Hall of Fame. It is in fact so brand new that it doesn't even exist yet, but that didn't prevent the organizers from having the first induction ceremony. The event took place last night at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, and apart from accepting his well-deserved award from Danny DeVito, Bruce himself inducted Frank Sinatra. Of course, he also had to grab a guitar and join the Hubcaps for "I Thank You" by Sam and Dave and his own "Glory Days". In his acceptance speech Bruce among other things joked about being mentioned in the same sentence as Albert Einstein, who was also an inductee.
