Bruce did not play at the Convention

As most of you will have guessed, Bruce did not show up at the Democratic Convention in Boston last night to close the event, as was rumored. But Bruce's music was still present as John Kerry entered the stage to the sound of "No Surrender". Whether this was sanctioned by Bruce is not known, but one would think he was asked first.
