The current media turbulence in connection with "American Skin" prompts us to come forward and express our wholehearted support of Bruce and his right to sing whatever he pleases. Patrick Lynch's and other people's ridiculous overreaction to and misinterpretation of a song they haven't even heard should never have caused this kind of uproar. If the American media spent half as much energy trying to figure out what causes tragic incidents like the one which cost Diallo his life, America and the world would be a better place. Bruce Springsteen is one of the few artists with enough guts to address these issues in a sober way. So thank him, don't slam him!
