According to the Bottom Line's own website, the club has hosted its last show. Last year it became clear that the legendary club was in serious financial trouble. Support statements from Bruce Springsteen, among others, apparently did not help, so a few days ago the owners posted this announcement. The Bottom Line is known to most Springsteen fans on account of a legendary run of shows Bruce did there in August 1975. One of the shows was broadcast live on the radio and attended by numerous music critics who afterwards helped boost Bruce's career with their ecstatic reviews.
