Band to take a break after this tour
At a press conference in Stockholm today, Bruce was asked several questions about the status of the band and any future plans. Bruce revealed that the band would probably take a break after the current tour is over. It wasn't quite clear if he was only talking about the E Street Band or himself altogether, but he did say he couldn't imagine being gone for several years like in his younger days. While he couldn't or didn't want to say what would be next, he said that he was working on solo music and some other projects. He was also asked if the tour would extend beyond the Giants Stadium shows, to which he said that Giants Stadium would be "among the last shows" of the tour. There was no indication in anything he said that this would be the last E Street Band tour. On the contrary, he said the band was still growing and mentioned the addition of Jay Weinberg as an example. So while the core of the band, hopefully, will stay the same, you may have to get used to seeing old familiar faces being replaced by new members.
