Bruce pulled out one mighty tour premiere last night. "The E Street Shuffle" made its first appearance since 1975, even though Bruce introduced it as a song they had never played before (check the facts with your fans, Bruce!). The show also contained the last stand's first renditions of "Spirit in the Night" and "Racing in the Street" as well as the three new songs again. The soundcheck included several takes on two new songs, one of which was later identified as "I'm Not Sleeping", which Bruce co-wrote with Joe Gruschecky for his Coming Home album.
