A couple of weeks ago it was just one of those silly rumors, but now it should be certain: the October 16 show in Barcelona will be broadcast live on the UK version of VH1 from 8 to 10:30 PM, indicating that it's the whole thing. VH1 is currently running ads for the show with an invitation to "spend a night with the world's greatest living rock 'n' roll star". If you can't watch VH1 UK, don't panic: the next night MTV in US and Europe are planning to run the show again. Read more

At 24 songs last night's show in St. Paul was the longest on the tour this far. And not only that, the Minnesota capital was also the first city on the tour where Bruce played some different songs from the new album. Out went "The Fuse" and in came both "Further on Up the Road" (not played since the Reuion Tour) and the world premiere of "Nothing Man". The show also saw the return of "No Surrender" and "Racing in the Street". Indeed a hot show for the lucky people in attendance. Read more

As has been his habit for the last few shows, Bruce added a song to the Rising Tour repertoire when he and the band visited Fargo last night. "Working on the Highway" made its entry in a 23 song set that also included "Night", "The Ties that Bind", and the return of "Prove It All Night". Read more

Almost 27 years ago Bruce and the band did a show in Milwaukee that was interrupted by a bomb scare. When they came back on stage Bruce, who had been waiting in a nearby bar, tore into a "loose" version of "Little Queenie". Apparently, Bruce remembers this all too well, because last night when he was back in Milwaukee he extended the show beyond "Land of Hope and Dreams" with an equally loose and very spontaneous "Little Queenie". Before that the band had tour premiered the full-band version of "No Surrender" and a solo version of "Mary Queen of Arkansas". Read more

The surprises continued for the third show in a row when the Chicago crowd was treated to the first "Jackson Cage" since 1981 (not counting the performance during the August 2 rehearsal show) and a solo version of "For You". Apart from that, "She's the One" remained in the set, and "My Hometown" had been added to the encores featuring a guest performance by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. Read more

Bruce is really shaking things up these days. Last night in Kansas City he added four more songs to the tour repertoire, plus an impromptu version of... what else?... the old Lieber/Stoller classic "Kansas City". The tour premieres were "Night", "Something in the Night", "She's the One", and a solo version of "Incident on 57th Street". Read more

Last night's show in Denver was not only the resurrection of the tour after a three week break. It was also seemingly a turning point away from the static setlist we've seen up till now. No less than four tour premieres appeared on the scoreboard, including one song that hasn't been played since the Born in the USA Tour: "I'm a Rocker". Apart from that, the Denver crowd got "The Ties That Bind", "Candy's Room", "Racing in the Street" and the return of "Two Hearts" for the first time since August 7. Read more
