The tour debut of the second show in Arnhem was "Trapped", which was last played in 1993 when "the new band" roamed. This week Bruce played the last shows in Germany. Offenbach on Tuesday featured the world premiere of "Take 'Em As They Come" and Bremen on Thursday night saw the tour premiere of "I'm on Fire" with Nils Lofgren on steel guitar. Even more surprising was perhaps the soundcheck in Offenbach where the band went through a flawless version of "Something in the Night". It seems Bruce has set his mind on debuting at least one song at every show these days. Thus the Leipzig show last Sunday had two tour premieres: "Car Wash" and "Downbound Train". "Loose Ends" and "Racing" have been rehearsed incessantly throughout the tour and been on several written set lists without being performed, so fans had started to wonder if Bruce was just teasing them. Well, the French fans got the real deal. Now we can only hope they weren't one-off performances. Read more

Bruce has contributed a song to the movie Limbo, the soundtrack of which has now been released. The song is called "Lift Me Up" and is a brooding love song, sung entirely by Bruce in a falsetto voice. It sounds like it could have been inspired by the theme song to Twin Peaks. Read more
