The categories are: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Male Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album. The 45th Grammy Awards will take place on February 23 in Madison Square Garden. No news on whether Bruce will be among the performers, but the odds are good, we'd say. Read more

Around this time of year it's custom to make predictions as to what's going to happen in the next 12 months. One of the more curious predictions comes from Irish top psychic Una Power. She predicts that Bruce Springsteen will lead a revolt against George W. Bush in 2003 and be asked to run as a political candidate. Power says if the Boss agrees to run, he will succeed. Take it for what it is. Read more

After much speculation as to whether the US would get their first stadium shows since 1985, at least one source now says that all such plans have been canned. Instead after returning home from Europe, Bruce and the band are said to be planning on doing 10-15 shows at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey. Take this with a grain of salt though. Most likely nothing is set in stone regarding next summer. Read more

Springsteen's official website was updated today with three more shows on the spring US tour schedule. And you can now sense a pattern: with shows in Richmond VA, Jacksonville, FL, and Atlantic City, NJ, the next year's tour will focus on places where Bruce has never played or hasn't played in years. Although a strong early market for Bruce in the early Seventies, Bruce hasn't played in Richmond since 1975, and to our knowledge he never did an official show in Atlantic City. It's not yet known when tickets will go on sale. Read more

Repeat performances of both "My Love Will Not Let You Down" and "This Hard Land" were the biggest highlights setlist-wise in last night's Albany show. At least until the very last song when much to everybody's surprised the band launched into a cover of Chuck Berry's "Around and Around". "Darkness on the Edge of Town" was also back and broke up the "You're Missing"/"Waitin' on a Sunny Day" combo for the first time on the tour. Read more
