As announced Bruce showed up at last night's James Taylor tribute show in Los Angeles. Bruce spoke a few words and sang Taylor's song "Millworker". Patti attended the event with Bruce, and for any curious souls, the pictures don't indicate any relationship trouble, so maybe we should just bury that rumor. See more pictures on www.wireimage.com. A source from VH1 who is allegedly a close aquaintance with Bruce is saying that it appears Bruce and Patti may be over with, and that they have indeed separated. The story has also been published in a Swedish tabloid newspaper, and it's expected that the National Enquire will feature the story this Friday. The Swedish newspaper says that Bruce is living in a barn on their land and that the couple are in marriage counceling to try and save the marriage. All of this is still just a rumor, and it's really none of our business anyway, but this will probably be big news in the press in the days to come. Read more

At any rate, he is officially scheduled to perform at the Grammy show on February 8 where he is also nominated for five awards. The Grammy show takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. When about a month ago we published the news that the 2006 New York Guitar Festival would pay tribute to the Nebraska album, the last thing on our mind was that Bruce himself would show up and perform. But that's exactly what happened. On Saturday night he joined the lineup of artists at the World Financial Center Winter Garden in New York for a rendition of Woody Guthrie's "Oklahoma Hills". Before that artists such as Martha Wainwright, Mark Eitzel and Jen Chapin had interpreted the Nebraska songs and other Springsteen tunes. Read all about it in the Star-Ledger. Read more

2005 was an exciting year to be a Bruce fan. We not only got a new album, a tour, a full concert from 1975 on DVD, we also saw the birth of a radio channel completely dedicated to all things Bruce. It was called E Street Radio and was featured on the satelite radio station Sirius. But the joy may be short-lived. From the beginning E Street Radio was only going to be on the air for three months. The three months will be running out by the end of January. But there's still hope. If you don't want it to go away, you should write to customercare@sirius-radio.com and tell them to keep it on the air. The more people they hear from the better chance that it will be extended and perhaps made permanent. Let your voice be heard! Read more
