Bruce rocked Conan

As announced earlier, Bruce did show up and performed both "Kitty's Back" and "Merry Christmas, Baby" on the Conan O'Brien show on Thursday evening. With the help of the Max Weinberg 7, the E Street Band and a fine looking Bruce did one of their greatest live television performances ever. It was the second time Bruce visited the show. Three tour premieres in Columbia

If you didn't have high expectations to a show in Columbia, South Carolina, you were in for a surprise. No less than three songs were tour debuted, and the lucky crowd also got the only second performance of the "Detroit Medley" on the tour. The tour premieres were "My Love Will Not Let You Down", "Growin' Up" and "This Hard Land". Read more
   

More shows scheduled for next year

Bruce had hardly left Atlanta when a new show for the Georgia capital was announced. The show will take place on February 28 in the Gwinnett Arena that holds only about 13,000 people. According to the Gwinnet Daily Post tickets will go on sale this Saturday, Dec. 15. At the same time there are rumors of a show in Rochester, NY, on March 11. Also, according to one source Florence in Italy will get a show on June 8 Read more
   

"Backstreets" makes an appearance

"Backstreets" made one of its rare appearances on the tour when Bruce and the band warmed up Charlotte with a 24-song set. The show also included "Darlington County" and "Where the Bands Are". Read more
   

Canada gets a taste of the Boss

Canada got its only show in 2002 as Bruce as the band rocked the Toronto crowd last night. No tour premieres, but a first-ever solo piano version of "If I Should Fall Behind" was the result after the 24-song set. Read more
   

Three tour premieres in rowdy Pittsburgh show

A stunning set of nine encore songs, including two tour premieres, wrapped up last night's show in Pittsburgh. But first Bruce had introduced "Youngstown" in a new acoustic arrangement featuring Soozie Tyrell's violin. For the encores, Bruce as usual in the Steelers city dragged out his old pal Joe Grushecky on stage for. Together they did "Code of Silence" (co-written by Grushecky) and "Glory Days". But Bruce was far from done. Before the show was over he had also pulled out "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" for the first, but probably not last time in 2002. Read more
   

"Where the Bands Are" premieres in Atlanta

After the extraordinary Florida things settled down for a bit for last night's Atlanta show, at least setlist-wise. "Where the Bands Are" was played for the first time on the tour in the 22-song set. The Rising producer Brendan O'Brien joined the band on stage for "Glory Days" and "Born to Run". Read more
   

Big Man on Mark Fromm album

Mark Fromm's "What Can I Give?" is a 7-song CD featuring Clarence "Big Man" Clemons on two tracks. On one of them, the single "What Can I Give for Christmas?", he plays Santa Claus a la the classic Bruce cover of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and blows a hot sax solo as well. As a whole, the songs are in the singer-songwriter rock genre which Bruce so epitomizes. 30% of the proceeds from "What Can I Give?" can be designated to go to the charity of the purchaser's choice. Soozie Tyrell releases solo album

The newest member of The E Street Band, violinist Soozie Tyrell, will release her first solo album entitled White Lines on April 8, 2003. Bruce and Patti both make an appearance. Rare posters up for auction
