The German fanclub The Wish believes that the dates for the shows in Germany
will be announced on February 8. If that is the case, there is no reason to think that
the rest of the European tour won't be announced too. After that it will probably
only be a matter of days before the tickets go on sale. So get ready and prepare for
a cold night in line. Read more

Band reunion. What more can we ask for? Well, a video release of one of Bruce's
concerts, of course! Now you can help make this dream come true by signing a
letter to Springsteen asking him to consider it. You can see the letter on Matt

According to Sunday's issue of New York Times there are plans to reopen the
Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The dance club, Vinyl, which replaced the Stone Pony,
was apparently not a success and has already closed down. Now a group of
investors led by former Stone Pony booking agent Kyle Brendle are investigating
the possibilities of reconstructing the club. We wish them luck. Read more

A radio station in Bayern said on Friday that Bruce would do 5-8 shows in Germany
by the end of June. The word is of course not official, and it contradicts earlier
indications that Bruce would only be in Europe during April and May. Speaking of
Germany, a newspaper in Bielefeld recently reported that Sony in Germany had
announced a new Springsteen album to be released. No word on when, so they are
absolutely right. There will be a new Springsteen album, but he has to record it
first. Read more

A good source tells us that there will in fact be a new Bruce album before the tour,
but before you get your hopes up, it will only be a compilation from Tracks.
The new album will be a single CD compilation of the best of the Tracks songs. No
word yet on eactly which ones, but a good guess would be that it won't be that
different from the promo CD that has been used by radio stations and handed out as
prizes in various contests. This CD was made up by the following songs:
Growin' up
Rendezvous
Hearts of Stone
Restless Nights
Where the Bands Are
Loose Ends
I Wanna Be With You
Born in the USA
Lion's Den
Janey Don't You Lose Heart
Sad Eyes
Trouble in Paradise
Seven Angles
Happy
Back in Your Arms
Probably not what most fans would choose, but these songs would constitute a very
strong album nonetheless and should make for a rather large success. Which again
could have a noticable impact on the ticket situation for the upcoming tour.
An official announcement of the album will probably come simultaneously with the
tour announcement. Read more

Addicted to Noise has interviewed Steve Van Zandt and Clarence Clemons in an
article about the reunion tour. The article confirms the participation of Steve,
Clarence, Max and Nils indicating that it's not certain who else will be on the tour.
However, we know that at least Gary Tallent will be there (he recently mentioned it
in a radio interview in Oklahoma), and we would be very surprised if Roy, Danny
and Patti weren't there too. So, no need to worry. Rehearsals for the tour begin next
week in New Jersey. Steve wants "Loose Ends" to be included in the set. Clarence
allegedly wants "Spirit in the Night". Read more

We wrote a few days ago that a show in Austria would take place on either April 20
or April 23. Now a source is telling us that there will be two shows, one on the 22nd
of April and one on the 23rd. This should be as good as certain, but you never
know... Read more

It has been officially announced that Max Weinberg will take a leave of absence
from the Conan O'Brian show to join Bruce on the road with the E Street Band. He
will be off the show from March 1, but that doesn't mean the tour will start on that
day. There will probably be a lot of rehearsals. Read more
