By Karsten S. Andersen
According to Yahoo Daily News Bruce is rumored to appear tonight in Littleton, Colorado, to help paying tribute to the police offircers and rescue personal who responded to the massacre at Columbine High School earlier this year. We would place this rumor in the "higly unlikely" stack, but if you live nearby it might be worth checking out, if nothing else to support the good cause. Read more

Bruce jammed with Bon Jovi

Published 1999-12-09

We're not exactly sure of the what day it happened, but it appears Bruce didn't lay low for long after the last show on his tour. At a big Christmas party at an unknown barn in New Jersey, the band Bon Jovi first hit the stage. After a while they were joined by Bruce, Southside Johnny and Patti Scialfa. The setlist consisted of old rock standards such as "Lucille", "Pretty Woman" and "It's All Over Now", but there was also room for an impromptu "Red-Headed Woman". Read more

Greasy Lake chatroom changes its looks

Published 1999-12-05

Greasy Lake has had many approaches regarding problems with the chatroom. The problems concerned both unability to log in (and stay logged in) and the behavior of other users. That's why we decided to change chat provider and at the same time demand that people register in order to use the chatroom. Knowing that this may make us unpopular with some of you, we can only say that the change should be for the benefit of everybody with honest intentions. Everybody who was a member of the old chat club should have received an e-mail (if they gave up their e-mail address) explaining the new procedure. Everybody else can go here and sign up.. Tour to continue next year

Published 1999-12-02
By Karsten S. Andersen
Thanks to everyone who's written, we can say that Bruce did indeed tell the audience at the last show in Minneapolis that there would be more US shows in the beginning of next year. Even Jon Landau has confirmed this, which must be taken as a sure sign. The tour, however, may be a weekend tour only making room for Max Weinberg and Little Steven's TV obligations. So far no cities are confirmed, but it's expected the tour will reach some of the markets not covered this year, such as the West and the South. Denver and Kansas City have been mentioned, and it would be very strange if Texas didn't get some shows too. Another rumor suggests that the US tour may be preceded by a stint to Japan, although that is far from certain. Read more
