Last night saw the final show on the tour for now. To our knowledge Bruce did not make any mentioning of this being the end, and the setlist had no extraordinary "final night" additions. He did do his country style versions of "Red Headed Woman" and "No Surrender", but the encores were standard except for another appearance of "Santa Claus". See the setlist for yourself. For those of you waiting for the second batch of the Japanese remasters of Bruce's album, you may be in for a long wait. It appears that Sony in Japan has been told to cease and desist with the planned releases. It isn't known if this is a permanent decision or just a delay. Read more

Before it was even announced the Australian leg of the tour, which has been strongly rumored to take place in March 2000, seems to have been canned for now. One can only speculate if this means the tour is completely over after Monday's show in Minneapolis or if they are just taking a break to record a new album. Read more

   

A new Bruce website has seen the light of day. But this one is not your usual "I- love-Bruce-and-therefore-I-must-have-a- website" kind of creation. This one, which is called, The Hitter after one of Bruce's great unreleased songs, is dedicated to the column-writing of long-time fan Brian Svoboda, who in the future will voice his opinion and comments on what goes on in the Bruce world. It had to happen... no succesful TV show without a soundtrack CD. Now producers of The Sopranos, in which Steve Van Zandt plays a gangster, follows the trend and releases a single disc album of some of the music that has been featured in the series. Among the tracks are Bruce's "State Trooper" and Steve's "Inside of Me". Among the other artists appearing on the release are Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Costello and the Eurythmics. The album will be in the stores just in time for Christmas on December 14. In other Little Steven news, he will be spinning discs on "VH1 At Work" tomorrow, Wednesday November 24, at 2pm EST, on the VH1 At Work website. Last night's show at the Pepsi Arena in Albany saw the happy return of Patti Scialfa to the stage after her perforated eardrum. Bruce celebrated this by once again dueting with her on "Mansion on the Hill". See the complete setlist and read Jerry's eye witness account. Read more

   

To those who were at the Buffalo show last night it was probably the show of the decade, but if you only look at the setlist, there is nothing noteworthy except for the omission of "Working on the Highway" (if our information is correct). See the setlist. Read more

   

Bruce was on fire last night in Columbus, Oh., and dished up with a solid set which included "Downbound Train" for the first time in a while, and "She's the One". See the complete setlist. Read more

   

The second and final show in Cleveland did not have any tour premieres, but did feature a new arrangement of "No Surrender" done "Ghost of Tom Joad" style with acoustic instruments and upright bass. Other highlights setlist-wise were "Because the Night" and a closing "Blinded by the Light". Also interesting to note the inclusion of both "Independence Day" and "Point Blank". This has never happened before on the tour that these two songs were played in the same set. See the complete setlist. Read more
