Shorefire Media has issued a press release announcing the live transmission of Bruce's show in Barcelona on October 16, and not only on VH1, but on MTV all over Europe. Unfortunately it looks like only 90 minutes of the show will be aired. The evening will begin with a one-hour countdown. No word yet on when it will be shown on American TV. Read the press release. Bruce on Conan in December

According to RockOnTV, on December 12 Bruce and the E Street Band will perform on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. This will be Bruce's second performance on the show. The first time was in 1999 just prior to the Reunion Tour. Read more

Stone Pony to close?

Rolling Stone is reporting that the Stone Pony in Asbury Park is once again threatened by its life. After a punk rock concert spun out of control in September, the owner Dominic Santana, has been under hard pressure from the city council. Now he's likely to abandon the old Stone Pony grounds and open a new club somewhere else. Read more
   

Another stunner setlist closes US leg

The last show until Bruce and the band hit Europe continued the trend of adding new, rarely played songs to the setlist. Thus, fans last night in Buffalo were treated to the first solo, piano version of "Lost in the Flood" since 1978. Moreover the show included the tour premieres of "You Can Look" and "Tougher Than the Rest". Next stop is Paris. Read more
   

Bruce blows minds

The Philly crowds must truly be special to Bruce. No less than three tour premieres at last night's show at the FU Center. "Does This Bus Stop", "Streets of Philadelphia" and... "Kitty's Back" all made their way into the setlist, "Kitty's Back" as the show closer. Bruce was sporting a neon-green shirt that prompted some comments from him. Read more
   

Bruce played two songs on Saturday Night Live

Last night, Bruce made his second appearance on Saturday Night Live. He played two songs: "Lonesome Day" with the E Street Band, and a solo version of "You're Missing". The first time Bruce appeared on the show was ten years ago after the release of Human Touch and Lucky Town. Read more
   

Bruce performs at bridge dedication

Yesterday afternoon Bruce appeared at the dedication of a new bridge in Boston named after civil-rights activist Lenny Zakim. He made a short speech and performed a solo acoustic version of "Thunder Road" to the gathered people. The whole thing was shown live on TV and can be viewed here. Read more
   

Boston breaks the record

The show keeps getting longer. Last night in Boston Bruce played 26 songs, the highest number of the tour. As a consequence, the show clocked in at around three hours. The show also included the first version of the classic hit "Dirty Water" that Bruce has done in concert. Peter Wolf guested on this song, which ended the show. Other highlights included a solo version of "For You" as well as the reinvigorated full-band "No Surrender". Read more
