The two Minneapolis shows scheduled to take place on November 3 and 4 have been moved to November 28 and 29 with original tickets to be honored. The move is due to Patti perforating her ear and thus being unable to perform. It is not known how long it will take for her ear to heal and more postponements can't be ruled out. There is of course also the possibility that the tour goes on without Patti. Read more

Bruce continued his habit of adding something special to the final show of a stand. This time it was "Sinaloa Cowboys", which was played for the first time with the E Street Band. The arrangement was allegedly much like the one for "The Ghost of Tom Joad" with upright bass, pedal steel guitar and accordion. Other highlights included Southside Johnny making a guest appearance on "Hungry Heart". See the complete setlist and read Jon Greer's eyewitness report. Read more

The second night of Bruce's Oakland stand didn't feature any real surprises, but was reportedly a better show than first night with particularly a "heavy" "Because the Night" setting the tone. Complete setlist. Read more

"Incident on 57th Street" made only its second appearance on the tour while "The Promise" was sort of a tour premiere unless you count the rehearsal shows in Asbury Park back in March. Other rarities included "Take 'Em As They Come" as the show opener and "Blinded by the Light" as the closer. Again, the show didn't have any songs from Born in the USA. This was the 5th time on the tour this happened. A couple of days ago we reported that it had only happened twice, but we were corrected by attentive readers (we were just checking if you were awake, of course). Anyway, read last night's complete setlist. We also have an eyewitness report, not from the last show, but from the 21st. Read more

Cleveland rock station WNCX has been advertising a "Y2K Concert with the Boss" contest. The prize in the contest is tickets and accomodation for a trip to New Jersey to see Bruce on New Years Eve. Let's emphasize that this does not mean a show has been announced. First and foremost this is probably just a way to get more listeners, but it's also another indication that a show might happen. However, Bruce is personally denying any plans of a show, but this too shouldn't be taken as proof of anything. We still just have to wait for a public announcement if there'll ever be one. Read more

It's rumbling from downunder. We're hearing rumors from all sorts of different sources that Bruce and the band will be in Australia in March. The media is reporting that dates will be announced next week. Among those dates should be at least one at the new 55,000 seat Colonial Stadium in Melbourne. Read more

The second night in Los Angeles had a typical "second night" setlist with "Factory" replacing "Mansion", "Point Blank" replacing "The River" and "Jungleland" replacing "Backstreets". The show also featured "Trapped" plus "Spirit in the Night" oddly placed as the second to last encore. Complete setlist. Read more

Despite the earth quake on Saturday outside Los Angeles, Bruce's show went ahead as scheduled last night. Setlist-wise the show was a throwback to the European tour with "My Love Will Not Let You Down" as the opener (hasn't been played since July) and the acoustic "Born in the USA" after "The Ghost of Tom Joad". The next nights will no doubt see things shaken up a bit (pardon the pun). Complete setlist. Read more
